Hi, allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau University. I work at Tinker Air Force Base developing and maintaining software and hardware that is used for testing avionics. My wife Holli and I have five daughters. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Christ the King Presbyterian Church. I enjoy basic and applied science, music, and designing and building gadgets. I ride a unicycle, I also make unicycle earrings from paperclips (which are available for sale). I like WWI era aeroplanes, fencing, astronomy, physics, Irish traditional music (especially Irish flute), & flutes of all kinds. I design and build flutes from plastic pipe and bamboo. I have built lasers, vacuum tube regenerative AM radios, single transistor FM transmitters, simple microscopes, human sundials, & magnetic levitation devices. I am the surviving member of a set of premature identical twins. My twin brother, James lived for three days. I wrote a song for him a few years ago. I am also a survivor of testicular cancer and actually ran in the 2002 Chicago Marathon with a buddy of mine for the American Cancer Society. I love the history of science, especially the dawn of modern physics and it’s effect on our understanding of astronomy and chemistry. My favorite scientist is Michael Faraday, followed closely by James Clerk Maxwell, both devoted and devout Christians. |
